D/U Desired/Undesired Markers
Press to change active marker between Desired (Signal) and
Undesired (Noise). Typically, these markers are used in Zero-
Span to clearly identify digital carriers and TDMA signals.
Reset Trace Average
This soft key will reset the
trace averaging
algorithm. When half-
toned
Trace Average
is disabled.
Manual Trigger
Press to turn sweep trigger ON/OFF (up/down arrow keys.) With
the trigger OFF, the instrument displays continuous update.
When ON, the display does not update until incoming signal is
above the center line of the graph.
5. Amplifier/Low-pass Filter
Press this to enter the Amplifier/Low-pass sub-menu. this sub-
menu allows you to enable and disable the internal low pass filter
and amplifier, as well as peak search on the markers.
Amplifier
Press to Enable/Disable the 13dB amplifier when working with
low level signals. Shown disabled. Right side darkens when
enabled.
Low-Pass Filter
Press to Enable/Disable 50 MHz Low-Pass filter. Enabled, the
filter attenuates frequencies above 50 MHz for better evaluation
