Definition
3HRV V9
Headend Reverse Sweep Receiver. 3HRV
incorporates a transmitter, and is used in
conjunction with the 3ST Stealth Headend
Transmitter for full forward and reverse
alignment. 3HRV accommodates up to 10
ten simultaneous reverse sweep inputs.
3SR V9
Stealth Sweep Receiver. Works with carriers
as possible and on Seep frequencies
transmitted downstream by the 3ST.
3SRT V9
Essentially, a portable 3ST.
3ST
Stealth Sweep Headend Transmitter. Used for
sweeping the system forward, inserting
sweeps at unused portions of the spectrum.
Sends headend level values downstream as
reference for 3SRs and StealthTraks.
Analogue-
VSB
Vestigial Sideband Modulation: prescribed
partial suppression of one of the sidebands.
This technique uses less bandwidth than
double sideband tranmission, and preserves
the signal’s waveform.
