Operator Name. Enter your name, which will appear in the header
section of the Auto Test Report.
Contrast Level. Adjusts the contrast level of the LCD for optimum
viewing. The level varies on a scale from 1-15.
Shut-off Time-out Period. To conserve battery life, an automatic
shut-off feature turns the meter off after a pre-set interval of
inactivity: 1, 3, 5 minutes, or Always On.
Backlight Time-out Period. An additional means of conserving
battery life is an automatic screen backlight time-out. The time out
period is programmable: Always Off, 5 sec, 10 sec, or Always On.
You can turn the backlight On/Off manually any time by pressing the
Function key.
Time. Use the numeric entry keys to enter the time in the
HH:MM:SS format (24 hour).
Date Format.
Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to select the
date format. When you change the date format, the new format will
appear everywhere the date is displayed or printed. The following
formats are available:

DD.MM.YY
YY.MM.DD
Date. Use the numeric entry keys to enter the date. Select

Printer. Sets the printer interface. Use the UP and DOWN arrow
keys to choose between Diconix, Seiko, IBM, or Epson. The
required serial printer configuration is as follows:

Printing to a parallel printer requires serial-to-parallel converter
such as the one manufactured by Black Box Corp. (Phone 412-
746-5500). The setup is the same as the serial printer
configuration.
