1.Press the Function key, then 2, while taking the

measurement. The screen displays the File for that test
(Scan, Spect, Sweep). The instrument displays a list of all
files that are the same type as the current measurement.

2.Press the

Store File

soft key (item 1 in figure). The screen

prompts you for name, and warns if the name already is in
use.

Press the

Enter

soft key. Use the keypad to enter a name,

then press

Enter

again. The screen displays View,

Measurement Files, the combined file for all three types.

All stored files, except Sweep Reference files, can be uploaded to
Wavetek’s Stealthware PC software. Each Sweep Reference file is
unique, in terms of the meter used, location, and system conditions
at the time of the Sweep. The uploaded files are extremely useful in
terms of documenting/proofing a system, as well as for system
alignment and maintenance.
