Safety-related accuracy can be improved!
Application-specific averaging can improve safety-related accuracy from ±1.58 %
to ±1.25 % for two-channel use. For this purpose, the mean value of the two
process values must be formed by the safe PLC.

Filter Characteristics
Filtering consists of one analog and two digital filter stages.
The analog filter is designed as a second-order low-pass filter with a cut-off
frequency of 130 Hz.
The first digital filter stage adjusts the sampling frequency. The limit frequencies
of this filter stage are tabulated below.

The adjustable smoothing of the analog signals represents the second digital
filter stage. Smoothing further lowers the cut-off frequency (see Section
“Smoothing the Input Measurement Values”).
