The
iParameter set description
dialog opens for the detailed description of the
parameter file. In this dialog, enter information about the project, the changes
made and the personnel in charge. Click
[OK]
to confirm the entries.
Then the
Save WAGO iParameter set
dialog opens. Enter a name for the
parameter file and select the directory in which the file is to be saved. Then click
[Save]
to save the file to the specified location.
To print the iParameter values and information on the parameter file, click the
[Print]
button in the WAGO Safety Editor toolbar.

OFFLINE Mode
OFFLINE mode is used to create or change iParameter settings of an F I/O
module in a parameter file.
8.3.2.1
Reading from a Parameter File
When launching the WAGO Safety Editor, select whether you want to change a
parameter file already saved on the PC or whether you want to create a new
parameter file.
If you want to change a parameter file saved on the PC, you are taken to the
storage location of the last saved parameter file.
If you want to create a new parameter file, you are directed to the storage
location of the default parameter files. From the names of these files, you can
draw conclusions about the type of the supported F I/O module and the language
support.
In the
Open WAGO iParameter Set
dialog, enter the name of the parameter file
to be loaded. Then click the
[Open]
button to load the selected file.
The
iParameter Set Description
dialog also opens. In this dialog, verify the
information given on the project, on the changes made, and on the personnel in
charge and change the information if need be. Click
[OK]
to confirm the entries.
8.3.2.2
Writing to a Parameter File
In the
Input
column of the iParameter set table of the WAGO Safety Editor, you
can now make the required changes to the iParameter values.
After selecting an iParameter, you can select the iParameter values from a
selection field or enter them directly.
If all settings are correct, save the iParameter set table in a parameter file. Click
the
[Save]
button in the WAGO Safety Editor toolbar.
