Single- or Two-Channel Use of Analog Inputs

The analog inputs of the F I/O module can be used with one or two-channel
evaluation.

The settings are made via the “Sensor Evaluation” parameter, which is described
in Section “Commissioning” > … > “Setting Parameters”.

Using two-channel evaluation for analog inputs, the input measurements of the
two inputs are compared. The following parameters must also be set:

•

Tolerance windows

•

Discrepancy time

•

Relative tolerance and/or

•

Absolute tolerance

For two-channel use, ensure that the channel parameters match!

When using two-channel evaluation for analog inputs, make sure that the
channel parameters of both inputs are configured identically!
