Left belt guard removed; refer to Belt Protec-
tor page 296.

Coolant pump belt removed; refer to Drive
Belts page 290.

Alternator belt removed; refer to Alternator Belts,
Change page 298.

Removal

1

Remove the tensioner retaining bolt and remove
the tensioner.

Installation

2

Install the tensioner. Align the guide pin on the
attachment with the installation hole and tighten
the bolts.
Check the condition of the drive belts.

Install the alternator belt; refer to

Alternator Belts,

Change page 298

.

4

Check that the belt is correctly positioned on the
belt pulleys.
