13 Replace the seals on the oil return pipe (

) and

re-install it.

14 Fill the turbocharger with new, clean engine oil

and install the oil delivery hose (

3

) with a new

gasket.

15 Install the hose (

2

) to the waste gate actuator.

Move the heat shield (

1

) to its correct position and

clamp in place.

16 Check that the turbocharger inlet pipe is thor-

oughly clean internally before it is installed
between the air filter and turbocharger.
Check that the pipe between the turbocharger
and charge air cooler is clean internally. if there
is contamination in the pipe, the charge air cooler
also requires internal cleaning.
Install the pipe between the turbocharger and the
charge air cooler.
Install the exhaust system.
Start the engine and check that no leakage is evi-
dent.
