Install the liner without O-rings and press the liner
down using two 9996966 Press tool.

Measure the height between the liner and the cyl-
inder block plane. Measure the height of the liner
in two places, diagonal to each other.
Calculate the average of the two measurements.
For correct liner height above block plane, refer
to specifications. If the liner height is outside
specified tolerances, the liner seat must be
repaired (milled).
Always measure the highest point on the liner
sealing surface. Mark the liner's position with a
felt pen in order to re-install it in the exact same
position.
