Turbo, Change

Removal

1 

Remove the heat shield, if fitted.

2 

Remove the pipe between the air filter and the
turbocharger.

3 

Remove the pipe between the turbocharger and
the charge air cooler.

4 

Remove the exhaust pipe/muffler.

5 

Remove the hose heat shield (

1

) and lay it to one

side.

6 

Remove the hose (

2

) to the waste gate actuator.

7 

Remove the oil supply pipes (

3

) from the turbo-

charger.

8 

Remove the oil supply pipe (

4

) and the union by

undoing the bolts beneath the turbocharger.
Pull the pipe from the engine block.
