The suction system is in two parts and comprises a
plastic pipe (

1

) with strainer from the oil sump, and a

steel or aluminum pipe (

2

). The plastic pipe is bolted

to the stiffening frame. The metal pipe is sealed at the
ends with rubber seals, and is in one of two lengths
depending on installation. The delivery pipe (

3

) is

made of steel and is fastened to the cylinder block
bearing caps and sealed with rubber seals.

A connection pipe from the oil filter housing leads oil
to the main lubrication channel.

The oil cooler (

) is bolted directly to the oil cooler

housing (

5

) and is entirely surrounded by coolant

thanks to the flow plate (

6

).
