Installation

3 

Lubricate the filter gasket with petroleum jelly or
soapy water. Install the new filter.
Screw the filter down until the gasket touches the
sealing surface. Then tighten a further ½ turn.

4 

Open the tap on the filter housing.

5 

Start the engine and check for leaks.
