By default, NetBackup assumes a value of one megabyte. Change this value
only if problems are encountered.
Locked File Action
Specifies the behavior of NetBackup when it tries to back up a file that has
mandatory file locking set by another process. Wait is the default setting.
Wait
Specifies that NetBackup will wait for files to become unlocked if they have
mandatory file locking set by another process. A message is logged to this
effect. Wait is the default setting.
Skip
Specifies that NetBackup will skip files that currently have mandatory locking
set by another process and will also log a message to this effect. Wait is the
default setting
Busy Files Tab
The Busy Files properties tab has settings that determine what occurs when
NetBackup encounters a busy file during a backup of a UNIX client (except
Apollo clients). The following topics explain the settings.
Host
Shows the host that has this configuration.
Process Busy Files
Causes NetBackup to process busy files according to the settings on this tab, if
it determines that a file is changing while it is being backed up. By default, this
is not selected and NetBackup does not process the busy files.
