Shortcut Menus
Clicking the right mouse button while the pointer is over a list displays a
shortcut menu with commands that apply to that list.
Customizing the Window
The View menu has options for customizing the window to suit your
preferences. For example, the Customize command opens a dialog box with
options for adding more toolbars or adding buttons to existing toolbars. See
the online help for more information on Customize and other commands on
the View menu.
Choosing the Master Server to Monitor
If there is more than one NetBackup master server, choose the one where you
want to monitor activity.
The name of the server you are currently monitoring appears in the status bar
at the bottom of the window. To monitor activity on another NetBackup master
server, proceed as follows:
1. On the File menu, click Change Master Server.
A dialog box appears.
2. In the dialog box, specify the name of the NetBackup master server that you
want to monitor.
3. Click OK.
The name of the master server that you specified now appears in the status
bar at the bottom of the window.
If you encounter problems, see “Remote Administration” on page 195.
Monitoring Jobs
1. In the NetBackup Administration window, click Activity Monitor.
The Activity Monitor window appears and is open to the Jobs tab.
2. Interpret the jobs list as explained in Table 9.
