• Selecting the Master Server branch and then clicking one of the Properties
commands on the File menu displays a properties dialog box that shows the
properties for the master server.
• Selecting the Media Server or Clients branch and then clicking one of the
Properties commands on the File menu displays a properties dialog box
where you can set the properties for all media servers or clients (depending
on the node you selected).
The right pane shows details about what is selected in the tree view:
• If you select the master in the tree view, the detail view shows a Media
Server and a Clients node.
Selecting the Media Server or Clients node in the detail view and clicking
one of the Properties commands on the File menu, displays a properties
dialog box where you can set properties for all media servers or clients
(depending on the node you selected).
• If you select the Media server branch in the tree view, the detail view shows
all media servers for the master server.
Selecting one or more media servers in the detail view and clicking one of
the Properties commands on the File menu, displays a Media Server
Properties dialog box where you can set the properties for the selected
servers.
• If you select the Clients branch in the tree view, the detail view shows the
list of clients for that master server.
Selecting one or more clients in the detail view and clicking one of the
Properties commands on the File menu, displays a Client Properties dialog
box where you can set the properties for the selected clients.
To view the configuration for another master server, use the Change Server
command on the File menu.
The Edit and View menus have commands that make it easier to use the lists:
• The Edit menu has commands for finding items and is useful if you are
managing many hosts and storage units.
• The View menu has commands for sorting and changing the layout and
appearance of the lists.
