2. Stop and restart the NetBackup Request daemon on the master server
where you are changing the configuration.

Alternate Restore Failover Machines
The Servers column shows the NetBackup servers that have failover protection
for restores. The Failover Servers column to the right of each server, shows the
servers that are providing the failover protection. When automatic failover is
required, NetBackup searches from left to right in the Failover Servers column
for the failed server until it finds another server that can perform the restore.
A NetBackup server can appear only once in the Servers column but can be a
failover server for more than one other server.
Select Machine
Selects the NetBackup server for which you want to provide failover
protection. If this server is inaccessible for a restore, NetBackup uses one of
those you have designated as alternate restore failover machines.
To specify a name, either click the arrow and select from the list or click the
browse button (...) and select from Network Neighborhood.
Add to the Lists
Specifies NetBackup servers to add to the list of failover machines for the
selected server. To add a name, either type it in the box or click the browse
button (...) and select it from Network Neighborhood. Use commas or spaces to
separate names. Then, click the + button.
Remove From the Lists
Specifies NetBackup servers to remove from the list of failover machines for
the selected server. To remove a name, either type it in the box or click the
browse button (...) and select it from the list. Use commas or spaces to separate
names. Then, click the - button.
