Continuµm User Guide 139

Manual changes to the aperture size, shape, or orientation are not

tracked by the automated aperture software. If the aperture is set in

software, software will attempt to return the aperture to the size,

shape, and orientation set in the experiment parameter prior to data

collection. Since the size and orientation of the aperture have been

changed from that stored by the software, the aperture may respond

unpredictably.
