Note: Perform this procedure on a firm, level
surface with the machine in the stowed position
and the wheels chocked.
1 Locate and disconnect the black negative
battery cable from the engine battery.
Electrocution/burn hazard.
Contact with electrically charged
circuits could result in death or
serious injury. Remove all rings,
watches and other jewelry.
2 Remove the PCB assembly access panel and
set aside.

3 Remove the retaining fasteners securing the
armrest mounting plate and set aside.
4 Remove the armrest assembly and set aside.
5 Connect the retrofit harness to the 8 pin
connector located behind the PCB mounting
plate.
Genie part number 1295183GT.
Note: Harness connectors are keyed for proper
installation.
Component damage hazard.
Improper connections will result
in damage to the telematics
module and it is not covered
under warranty.
