11  Connect the harnesses to connectors C3 and 

C4. 

12  Secure the harnesses in the control box using 

cable ties. 

13  Close the ground control box. 
14  Locate the CAN-0 connector behind the 

ground control box and disconnect the cap. 

 

1  connector, CAN-0 
2  ground control box 
3  battery charger 
4  connector, CAN-1 

 

15  Connect the 3 way connector of the CAN BUS 

harness to the CAN-0 connector. 

 

1  cable restraint 
2  connector, CAN-0 cap 
3  connector, CAN-0 
4  connector, 3 way 

 

16  Connect the loose end of the CAN BUS 

harness to the CAN-0 cap. 

17  Using a mild cleaning solvent, clean the top of 

the ground control box. 

 

1  telematics bracket 
2  ground control box 

 

18  Remove and discard the protective film from 

the adhesive tape located on the bottom of the 

telematics bracket. 
Genie part number 1289561GT. 

19  Adhere the bracket to the control box. 
Note: Mount the bracket 2 inches / 5 cm from the 

right side of the control box. 
Note: The adhesive takes approximately 20 

minutes to fully adhere to the surface.
