6 Connect the loose end of the retrofit harness
to the 8 pin machine harness connector
located near the mast cradle.
7 Locate the machine serial label.
8 Using a mild cleaning solvent, clean an area
next to the serial label. Adhere one of the
provided ESN decals to the machine.
9 Note: The ESN decals are provided with the
telematics module.
10 Adhere the lexan cover decal over the ESN
decal.

Register and activate the telematics
module. Refer to page 7.

This procedure only applies to the following serial
numbers listed below.

TZ5015-1052 to TZ50J-3756
Note: Perform this procedure on a firm, level
surface with the machine in the stowed position
and the wheels chocked.
Note: Perform this procedure with all external AC
power disconnected from the machine.
1 Open the turntable cover on the ground
controls side of the machine.
2 Using a mild cleaning solvent, clean the top of
the chassis between the function manifold and
function pump.

2 telematics bracket
3 function pump
3 Remove and discard the protective film from
the adhesive tape located on the bottom of the
telematics bracket.

4 Adhere the bracket to the top of the chassis.
Note: The adhesive takes approximately 20
minutes to fully adhere to the surface.
