7 Adhere the bracket to the top of the pivot link.
Note: Mount the bracket in the center of the pivot

link.
Note: The adhesive takes approximately 20

minutes to fully adhere to the surface.
8 Secure the telematics module to the mounting

bracket using the provided retaining fasteners.
Genie part number 1289520GT or

1289521GT.

9 Open the ground controls compartment and

locate the 8 pin connector behind the ground

control box.

10 Connect the gateway harness to the 8 pin

connector.

Note: Harness connectors are keyed for proper

installation.

Improper connections will result

in damage to the telematics

module and it is not covered

under warranty.

11 Connect the pin switch jumper to the gateway

12 Route the harness through the access hole

under the function manifold and towards the
