Note: Perform this procedure on a firm, level
surface with the machine in the stowed position
and the wheels chocked.
1 Locate and disconnect the black negative
battery cable from the engine battery.
Electrocution/burn hazard.
Contact with electrically charged
circuits could result in death or
serious injury. Remove all rings,
watches and other jewelry.
2 Remove the retaining fasteners securing the
center dashboard and set aside.

3 Remove the dashboard from the cab and set
aside.
4 Using a mild cleaning solvent, clean the front
of the cab compartment.

5 Remove and discard the protective film from
the adhesive tape located on the bottom of the
telematics bracket.
Genie part number 1289561GT.
6 Adhere the bracket to the front of the cab
compartment.
Note: The adhesive takes approximately 20
minutes to fully adhere to the surface.
7 Secure the telematics module to the mounting
bracket using the provided retaining fasteners.

1289521GT.
