GENERATOR ROTOR
• Apply engine oil to the bushing of the starter driven gear.
• Fit the key

in the key slot on the crankshaft.
• Degrease the tapered portion

of generator rotor and also
the crankshaft
B
. Use nonflammable cleaning solvent to wipe
off oily or greasy matter and make these surfaces completely
dry.
• Install the generator rotor onto the crankshaft.
• Hold the generator rotor with the special tool and tighten its
bolt to the specified torque.


Generator rotor bolt: 130 N·m (13.0 kgf-m, 94.0 lbf-ft)
STARTER IDLE GEAR
• Apply engine oil to the idle gear shaft hole.
• Install the starter idle gear

with the idle gear shaft

PRIMARY DRIVE GEAR
• Install the key

onto the crankshaft.
• Install the primary drive gear assembly

, washer

and
spring washer

NOTE:
* The punch mark

on the primary drive gear assembly

should face to the outside.
* The conical curve side of spring washer

face outside.
