InTRoDuCTIon
You have recently acquired the electro-musculation device with accessories, designed, produced and manufactured by SPORT-
ELEC® INSTITUT (France). We thank you for your purchase and suggest that you read attentively the following paragraphs for an
optimal use of the device. SPORT-ELEC® is specifically designed to enhance the abdominal area and the butts.
GEnERALITIES
BODY CONTROL SYSTEM (BSC) is conceived for women and men who care about their appearance.
BCS is a device which uses electrical stimulation through the “contraction-release” effect on muscles that you want to work.
The aim of the BCS is to refine your silhouette by acting on the muscular masses (waist, Abs, butt muscles, thighs, and legs).
BCS contains 4 programs for a more particular development of certain muscles (pectoral, abdominal, biceps...) resulting from
SPORT-ELEC® research. The frequencies and impulsions width of each program have been defined to meet perfectly everybody’s
requirements :
• Work the muscle gently and facilitate its recovery after an effort
• Improve the firmness of tissues
• Reshape the silhouette
In conclusion, according to our activity, some muscles are more or less developed, the others atrophy on the contrary.
Our body contains more than 600 muscles. The shape and harmony of our body depends on these muscles.
BCS allows activating the set of muscles without any effort from you. Its daily use will restore vigour of your muscle structure.
ThERAPEuTIC APPLICATIonS
- Private: to strengthen and / or to maintain muscle strength.
- Physiotherapists: to ease muscular tensions.
- In hospital environment: to prevent muscular atrophy and to treat pain.
WARnInG
READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE USE :
Prior to use, check the following points :

The device will stop if you try to start a program without
positionning the belt on the body on first.
f
The device must be fully connected to all the 4 connecting
plugs of the accessory.
f
Adjust accessories carefully to ensure contact between
electrodes and the skin.
CAUTION:
The generator is provided with a safety system to avoid
incorrect handling of the device by users. If you move with
accessories attached and a partial loss of contact between
electrodes and the skin occurs, the device will stop (safety
stop).
ConTRA-InDICATIonS
Do not use SPORT-ELEC® :
f
On the heart area.
f
If you carry a pacemaker or suffer from any other heart
problem.
f
If you have any form of an abdominal implant. The safety
has not been established for the use of electronic muscle
stimulators over abdominal implants.
f
If you are pregnant.
f
During first 6 weeks after baby birth.
f
During first 3 months after having a surgery (like caesarean
section...) and consult your doctor before using the device.
f
If you have cancer, as the effects of electronic stimulation of
cancerous tissue are unknown.
f
In case of neuromuscular diseases.
f
In case of haemorrhagic diseases.
I. InSERTIon oF BATTERIES
Check that the device is switched off.
Open the “batteries” compartment, insert three 1,5 V AA LR6 alkaline batteries into the compartment then close the case.
Comply with + and - indications (photo II - A page 2).
Do not mix used and good batteries.
For an optimal use of your device, it is advised to use good quality batteries.
II. STARTInG ThE unIT
Your electro-stimulation device is an appliance at the state-of-the-art technically, its design is based on standards EN 60601-1 and
-2-10, it is foreseen for improving tone of your muscles, and not for measurement or diagnosis”.
The interface “man machine” is simplified and realized by means of numbers and function keys.
From 1 to 4, the number in black indicates you the program chosen by pressing the “P” key.
Two graduated scales (1 by output) indicate you 64 power levels.
You also find 6 order keys (scheme, page 10) :

1 “P” to select the programs - a short press

2 “+/-” keys per output, in each side of the LCD display, to adjust the intensity of the stimulation.
A long (1 sec.) press on the “-” key allows to return the power level rapidly to zero.

FunCTIon 1 - “on / oFF“ SWITCh

A short press on the “O” key puts the device under or off power.
f
f
Every time under power, the device makes an auto-test on 11 essential parameters at the level of the safety of its operation.
During the auto-test segments and pictograms are lit during 0,5 second.
f
f
If an internal defect in the device is detected, all the pictograms flash. Send back the device to the After Sale Service.
f
f
The auto-test does not take into consideration the used batteries. When the batteries are used the autotest cannot be performed.
f
f
One long press (over 3 sec) on the “O” key stirs up the auto-test.
In this case, stop the device by pressing the “O” key and then press shortly the “O” key again.

FunCTIon 2 - ChoICE oF A PRoGRAM “P”
Just make one or several presses on the “P” key, the programs ravel.
The programs are announced by numbers from 1 to 4.
Once the program is chosen, the program number is shown on the display. (see page 10).
Once the program is chosen, you can start it by increasing only one of the both “+”keys.
During the program the “P” key is inactive.

At the end of the program the device stops automatically.

To stop the device during a program, you just have to turn 2 power keys to zero or to press the “O” key.

In case of emergency, press the “O” key.
4.
FunCTIon 4 - ADjuSTMEnT ThE PoWER
You have 64 levels from 0 to 64 to adjust the electro-stimulation power.
Between two segments, there are 7 power levels or 4 short press on “+” key.

FunCTIon 5 - BATTERIES

If the batteries are “good”, there is no blinking.
f
f
If the batteries are “weak”, two segments (the 6th segment) blink (scheme page 10). Your device still works.
f

If the batteries are “used”, two segments (the 10th segment) blink (scheme page 10).
f

If your device stops, even during a program: change the batteries.
6.
FunCTIon 6 - DISConnECTIon
Your device is endowed with an accessory disconnecting detector.
If there is no contact between the skin and the accessory, the power is stopped on the concerned output (channel A or B).
You are warned of the disconnection by blinking of the 1st segment during 30 sec., after 30 sec. the blinking stops (diagram, page
10).
If no accessory is in contact with the body, the power cannot be emitted.
III. uSE ThE MuLTIFunCTIonAL BELT
The multifunctional belt can be used whole, or separated into 2 to form 2 half-belts. The full belt must be used on the stomach,
lower back areas. Once unfastened, the 2 “half-belts” can be used on the arms, thighs, or calf.
The belt has 2 pairs of snap fasteners onto which 2 wireless electrodes specially designed by SPORT-ELEC® are
clipped.
To obtain new electrodes, contact your usual retailer or order them from our website www.sport-elec.com.

Never use the belt without attaching the 2 electrodes provided.

Only use electrodes supplied by SPORT-ELEC®.
