4) Turn camshaft till ensuring that the cylinder number 1 valves
(40) are completely closed.
5) Install cylinder head (39) on cylinders block and select the
fixing bolts (38).
CAUTION:
Before using again the screws of the cylinder head,
measure their diameter on the thread with a
micrometer. Be sure the measure doesn´t exceed
11,5 mm at any checking point. Otherwise, replace
screws.
6) Install bolts (38) fixing the cylinder head and tighten them a
little.
7) Install camshaft timing bolt pulley (41) with screws lightly
tightened. Finalt tightening should be done with timing belt
on.

8) Apply specified tightening torque to cylinder head bolts in
three steps and following the order specified herewith.
Tightening torque for cylinder head bolts:
• 1
st
step. Pretighten with torque wrench:
6 ± 0,5 Kg-m (60 ± 5 Nm)
• 2
nd
step. To go once again over the torque of 6 ± 0,5
Kg-m (60 ± 5 Nm)
• 3
rd
step. Angular tightening of 180° ± 10°
NOTE:
To carry out angular tightening use tool (L).
