Thus, when you leave it to the default “LAN0”, the port labeled LAN0/WAN0 (
eth0
) will remain
bridged in the LAN switch, together with the other two interfaces that are unconditionally for LAN:
The bridge also includes the WiFi embedded access point (
wlan0
).
But, should you set it to
WAN0
instead of the default
LAN0, without IP, it will be taken out of the LAN switch
and act as a secondary WAN port, with or (as in this
example) without specific IP:
Now the bridge
br0
joins only
lan
and
wlan0
:
