Speed Masking
The masking of a defined speed window can be parameterized to avoid reso‐
nance frequencies of the machine or machine frame. The following parame‐
ters have to be configured.

F4.57 Speed masking: Center speed
The center speed defines the center of the speed window to be masked to
avoid resonance frequencies. The center speed should be the same value as
the major resonance frequency of the machine.
F4.58 Speed masking: Window
This parameter defines the width of the speed window to be masked to avoid
resonance frequencies.

The speed masking still takes the motor derating function from previous page
into account.
The speed masking is deactivated as soon as one of the two pa‐
rameters F4.57, F4.58 has the value "0".
