Change the TCP Discovery Port
SX II discovery occurs over a single, configurable TCP Port.
The default is Port 5000, but you can change it to use any TCP port
except 80 and 443.
To access SX II from beyond a firewall, your firewall settings must
enable two-way communication through the default Port 5000 or a non-
default port configured on this page.
For information on required open ports and port protocols, see Port
Access Protocol Requirements (on page 238).
Note that TCP discovery port can be configured via Remote Console or
command line interface (CLI). See
Configure Device Settings Using
CLI (on page 208).
1. Choose Device Settings > Device Services. The Device Service
Settings page opens.
2. Enter the Discovery Port.
3. Click OK.
