Note: To avoid possible conflicts with database
conventions, do not use quotation marks (“) or
exclamation points (!) in the Field Value box.

If you wish, continue building the search statement at
the top of the dialog box by choosing one of the logical
operators from the right side of the window.
Then repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 as necessary to complete
the desired statement. (See
Sample search statements
on page 4-22 for statement examples.)
To remove the entire statement and start again, choose
Clear and return to step 3. To remove only the most
recently chosen operator or value, choose Undo.

After the logic statement is satisfactory, indicate the field
to be used for sorting the retrieved records by choosing
from the Sort By list.
If you do not choose a sort-by field, records are
displayed in the order of their appearance in the
database.

To perform the search after the logic statement and sort
field are satisfactory, choose OK. (To abandon the search
and return to the Data Entry window instead, choose
Exit.)
