Turning the film
recorder on and off
Before turning on the color film recorder, make sure the
ID-4000 computer is off. Then turn the power switch on the
front of the film recorder to On (“1”).
After you turn on the power switch, a green LED on the
front of the recorder indicates that power is on. The unit
goes through a brief self-test and a warm-up period of
up to 20 minutes, then is ready to print badges.
Note: You can turn on the ID-4000 computer immediately
after you turn on the film recorder, but wait for the
warmup period to elapse before printing badges.
When turning the ID-4000 system off, turn the computer
power switch to Off
before turning the film recorder
power switch to Off (“0”).
