Storing the error log as a text file
If you store the error log records as a text file, you can
print them with a word processing program. You should
also store error log information as a text file on diskette
before deleting records from the error log.
You may want to store the error log information as a text
file. After you create the text file containing the error log
information, you can edit or print it with a word
processor such as Microsoft Windows Write provided
with Windows. (See
Microsoft Windows User’s Guide for
more information about Write.) It is also recommended
that you store the error log information as a text file on
diskette before deleting records from the error log.
