2.2 About the AccuCount II drug library

The AccuCount II scale’s internal drug library can hold up to 500,000 drugs. This
library allows users to quickly compare the weight of known pills, to provide a quantity
when using the Rx-Check or Non-Rx-Check applications.

The drug library is comprised of two components:

• Standard database, which is a library of drugs compiled and distributed by Parata.

• User database, which contains any drugs added by the user that are not in the

standard database. The maximum number of drugs in the user database is 10,000.

Chapter 3, “Operations” provides details about how to work with drug library data
while using AccuCount II applications.

Chapter 5, “Maintenance” provides details about upgrading, backing up, and restoring
the drug library in the scale.
