To test the reprogrammed bar code scanner

On your PC, open up Notepad, so that you can verify the scanner input.

In the table below, scan each bar code and verify that the text next to the bar code appears in
Notepad:

Close Notepad (don’t save changes).

Once you have verified that the bar code scanner works correctly, disconnect it from your PC.

Connect the bar code scanner to a USB port on the AccuCount II scale
