Ensure that the two black rings on the bottom of the weighing pan center over their
respective black bumpers on the weighing pan support.

If you are going to use the compounding plate, center it on top of the weighing pan.

NOTE

The draft shield can not be installed while you are using the compounding plate
(unless you are using the compounding plate on top of the draft shield during
calibration, to minimize the impact of drafts).
