Troubleshooting
This chapter provide symptoms and causes of common problems with the
Parata AccuCount II scale, along with possible solutions.
Symptom
Possible causes and solutions
Weight display does not light.
Scale is not switched on.
• Press the
On/Off
key
Connection to power adapter interrupted.
• Reconnect the power adapter to the scale.
Power supply has failed; i.e., current interrupted.
• Restore current to or plug in the power adapter.
The power adapter is defective.
• Contact Parata Systems Customer Care.
There is no display.
The scale is in Standby mode.
• Place weight on the scale.
Only dashes are shown in the display.
The stability control is set too sensitively.
• See “Weighing parameters” on page 4-12 to adjust
the
Environment
setting.
OL
(overload) is shown in the display.
The weight range (620g) has been exceeded.
• Remove excess items.
UL
(underload) is shown in the display.
The weighing pan or its support is missing.
• Place pan and pan support on the scale.
• Press the
Tare
key, if pan and support are present
or if necessary to show
0.000g NET
.
