Weight display fluctuates continuously.
The draft is too strong at the scale location.
• Remove the source of the draft.
The surface on which the scale is standing is vibrating
or varying.
• Stabilize the surface.
The scale is rocking on the surface.
• Ensure that both leveling feet are touching the
surface.
The scale pan is touching a foreign body.
• Remove the foreign body.
The material being weighed is absorbing moisture.
• Remove the source of moisture.
• Regulate the humidity at the scale location.
The material being weighed is blowing away or is
evaporating.
• Remove the source of the draft.
• Control the temperature at the scale location.
Strong temperature variations in the material being
weighed.
• Control the temperature at the scale location.
NOTE:
If none of the above solutions work, relocate the
scale. If the problems persist, contact Parata
System Customer Care
Results of weighing are clearly incorrect. The scale is not correctly tared.
• Place the pan, scoop, vial, or compounding plate on
the scale; then press the
Tare
key.
The scale is not correctly leveled.
• Ensure that both leveling feet are touching the
surface.
• Perform the procedure in “Leveling” on page 1-8.
The calibration is no longer correct.
• Perform one of the procedures in “Calibration” on
Strong temperature variations at the scale location.
• Control the temperature at the scale location.
• Relocate the scale.
