2.6 Alphanumeric input
Certain situations require you to enter a text or numeric value of some kind. In these
cases, the soft keys are used for alphanumeric input. Each soft key displays a string of
numbers, letters, or symbols (e.g.,
12345
,
ABCDEF
,
+-*/=&%
) or displays a special
control key (e.g., escape, space, and cursor movement keys).
2.6.1 Finding additional characters
Additional characters are usually available for entry, especially in text label fields.
Press the
Rotate
key to display the next set of available characters and soft key
options, as shown in Figure 2-6.

Confirms current entry or selects items on menus.
