Chapter 9 Connecting to External Devices — Connecting to the remote operation panel (AK-HRP200G)
Clip linking in one-clip recording cannot end from the AK-HRP200G. You can only perform the operation from the camera.

Remote control unit connected to the camera
When AK-HRP200G is connected to the camera, AK-HRP200G button operations are as follows:

Skin tone detail button (<SKINDTL>)
Operation varies depending on the lighting status of the button.

When the button illuminates, operation is available with the menu setting value of the camera (setting for skin tone detail).
f
When the button light goes off, the function of the skin tone detail is set to [OFF], regardless of the camera’s menu setting value.
After restarting the camera, the menu setting value is reflected in AK-HRP200G.
However, this function does not operate when the camera and AK-HRP200G have a serial connection.

User file selection buttons (<USER1> to <USER3>)
You can select the camera’s scene file F1 to F3. F4 to F6 cannot be selected.
However, this function does not operate when the camera and AK-HRP200G have a serial connection.
r
R flare/pedestal volume (<FLARE/PED R>), B flare/pedestal volume (<FLARE/PED B>)
Flare adjustment is not supported. Works only with the pedestal.
r
5600 K button (<5600K>), Matrix button (<MATRIX>), DTL control (<DTL>)
Operation is not available.
r
Tally/call button (<TALLY/CALL>)
Lights when the camera is recording.
r
Setting display (4 digits), ND filter/CC filter display selection button (<ND/CC>)
ND filter, zoom, focus, auto focus, and variable frame rate are not supported.
r
Character/menu button (<CHARA/MENU>)
Switches the display of status and menu.

Short press (light on): [CHR] of the [SET03:MON OUT SETUP] screen in SmartUI turns to [ON], and the status is displayed.

Long press (light on): [CHR] of the [SET03:MON OUT SETUP] screen in SmartUI turns to [ON], and the menu is displayed.
f
Long press (light off): [CHR] of the [SET03:MON OUT SETUP] screen in SmartUI turns to [OFF], and the menu and the status are not displayed.

To use the camera as a standalone device, the remote control mode must be disabled.

The operation of connecting via IP and remote controlling the camera from multiple devices such as the AK-HRP200G cannot be guaranteed.
