Setting Message Waiting Indication

Follow these steps to set the MWI:

Ensure that you have programmed a telephone to access target lines for receiving messages. 
For information on access to target lines, refer to 

“Assigning message centers to a line” on 

page 573

Click on the keys beside 

Services

System DNs

, and 

Active Set DNs.

Click a DN (DN 221-528).

Click on the key beside 

Line access and Line assignment.

Select the target line you specified in 

Selecting a message center

When Vmsg is enabled for a target line on a telephone, the telephone logs Message Waiting
