After programming the temperatures, it will take a few seconds before
the actual temperatures (numbers directly below the setpoints) begin
changing.
As the profile stabilizes, the actual temperature will move closer to the
setpoint temperature.
NOTE: When creating a profile for the first time, it will take
approximately 15–30 minutes for the temperatures to stabilize.
After the temperatures have stabilized all temperatures should be
green on the screen.
4. If a zone temperature is yellow but stable, it indicates a
nonachieveable setpoint. Re-enter the setpoint to match the actual
and allow the value to go green on the screen.
5. When all values are green, save the profile. When the profile is
saved, the top zone temperature will be saved at the setpoint value.
The actual bottom zone temperatures will transfer over to the setpoint
row when saved. After saving, the oven controls the wattage to
maintain the top zone temperatures.
Watts Mode
NOTE: When programming in the Watts mode the IR watts display is
necessary. This display can be turned on by selecting under the
Options menu.
Programming in the Watts mode allows you to enter the wattage needed
to reach a desired temperature in each zone. The IR BOOST DISPLAY
is necessary in this programming mode. This displays the actual wattage
and the setpoint or desired wattage for the upper and lower zones. Using
the Watts mode allows for quicker stabilization of a profile but provides a
less accurate temperature setting.
Use the following steps to program the oven in the watts mode.
1. Select the desired zone, indicated by four blue zeros, using the arrow
cursor.
2. Enter the desired IR wattage between 175–2000 watts when the
Setpoint window appears. The IR wattage appears as the top of the
two values.
3. The radiant energy heats the product and the circulating air. The
computer maintains the set zone temperatures by adjusting the
wattage of the convection elements.
