The Silicon-Controlled Rectifiers (SCR) control board(s) control power to
each energy zone through an interface with the SCRs. The SCRs are
located on the hinge side of the oven’s base cavity. Direct feedback to
the SCR boards in the card cage is through small feedback cards
mounted on the SCRs.
The I/O board accepts data and control signals from the CPU board.
Data is translated into system operation instructions (outputs) and
executed. A return signal (inputs) updates the system, and further
instructions are processed accordingly.
Inputs Action
Auxiliary Contacts Sends a signal to the CPU board if the main
contactor is on or off
Blower Contacts Sends signal to the CPU board when the
blower relay is on or off
E-Stops (two in series) Shuts the oven down and signals the CPU
board of operating status
Pressure Switch Sends a signal to the CPU board if oven
exhaust is not flowing properly after a
30-second start-up time has elapsed
Supply Air Detectors
and Start-Up Timer Allows pressure to build in the cooling
section and regenerative air tube. If
sufficient pressure is not present within
30-seconds, the main contactor will shut
down to prevent heat damage to the oven
Cover Interlock
Switch(es) Indicates that the oven cover is opened or
closed
Reset Switch Activates whenever:

Recovering from a power loss or
S
Exiting from a Machine Failure screen.
This safeguards the oven from damage
from un-attended start-up.
Safety Latching Relay Latches only with the manual reset switch on
initial start-up or power loss
Sensors Notifies the computer of excessive product
build up at exit end
