Load circuit boards onto the oven conveyor with at least one half board
length of space between the circuit boards. Do not butt the circuit boards
up end to end, as this will cause a change in the convection currents in
the process cavity.
Hand Loading the Conveyor
When circuit boards are manually fed into the oven, it is recommended
that the product be fed onto the conveyor as if it were part of an in-line
system. The board should be fed into the oven and not placed directly on
top of the conveyor so the conveyor can grip each board as it enters into
the oven.
Loading from a Conveyorized Workcell
The conveying system of the upstream machine from the Select Coat
system should be in exact alignment with the conveyor in the following
ways:

Both the hinge side and operator side rails of the upstream machine
should be at the same pass line height as that of the conveyor.

It is important that the upstream machine and the oven are perfectly
level.
S
Align both conveying systems in such a way that they are running
exactly in-line with each other.
S
The conveying system passing the product to the oven should travel
at the same speed or slightly slower than the oven’s conveyor. This
will allow the conveyor to firmly grasp the incoming board before it
leaves the upstream conveyor.
