Installation Requirements
WARNING: Allow only qualified personnel to perform the
following tasks. Follow the safety instructions in this document
and all other related documentation.
Nordson Corporation factory trained field service engineers should direct
the installation and initial setup of your Select Cure IR oven. Do not
install the oven in a residential environment.
The oven should have at least 1.2 m (4 ft) of clearance on all sides to
allow safe system operation and servicing.
For in-line operation, the oven needs a space 10-mm (0.40-in.) longer
than the unit’s overall length.
The following paragraphs contain service and environmental
requirements for the oven.
CAUTION: The oven uses phase-angle-fired silicon controlled
rectifiers which produce electrical noise. You should not
operate the oven on the same electrical service with computers,
computer peripheral equipment, or test equipment.
See the serial number plate found on the base of the oven, near the
exhaust duct, for the power configuration.
The oven should have independent electrical service from a primary
power source. A shielded incoming power cable is required for this
equipment.
