Since each Select Cure IR oven installation is unique, the oven is not
equipped with an integral exhaust blower or duct work. The customer is
responsible for the purchase and installation of an exhaust system that
during production will meet the specifications given in this section. Oven
performance will suffer without an adequate exhaust system.
Nordson Corporation does not accept engineering responsibility for
exhaust system design and installation. If you do not have experience
designing and installing exhaust systems, seek professional assistance.
See Figure A 3-1. The following information is provided to assist you in
designing and installing an adequate exhaust system for your Select
Cure IR oven.
NOTE: Nordson Corporation recommends installing a separate exhaust
system for the IR oven, with a dedicated blower, instead of connecting to
a central plant exhaust system. This will prevent the variations in the
volume and pressure common to central exhaust systems from affecting
the performance of the IR oven.
