3. If the rail is not at 152.4-mm (6-in.) or the desired width that it has
been set to, adjust it to the correct distance by adjusting the limit
switch board position.
a. Loosen the locking nut on the limit switch carriage calibration bolt.
The limit switch board position is adjusted by turning the
calibration bolt.
b. If the rail is too close to the fixed rail, move the limit switch board
toward the minimum limit switch flag.
c. If the rail is too far from the fixed rail, move the limit switch board
toward the maximum limit switch flag.
d. Adjust the limit switch one half distance that the rail is off. Go
back to step 2 to check the work. Repeat the above steps as
necessary.
4. Follow the same procedures to adjust the product support conveyor
width. The maximum product support conveyor width flag is
adjustable. If the flag should need adjusting set it so that it is close,
but not tripped when the product support conveyor is at its maximum
width. The maximum width is the PW setpoint minus 25.4-mm.
5. For product support conveyor height adjustment:
a. Set a board on the pin conveyor. Mechanically set the product
support conveyor rail so that it is less than 3-mm (0.125-in.) from
the bottom of the board, but not touching. This will be the zero
position. All the uprights of the product support conveyor should
be vertical.
b. Set the height limit switch board so that it is close, but not tripped
by the height limit switch flag.
After 4000 hours, follow these procedures to replace the chain, psc
rollers and drive sprockets.
See Figure C 4-3.
1. With the system on and cold, select RAISE COVER from Menu.
2. Position the pin conveyor rail width at 300-mm.
3. Position the product support conveyor width at 200-mm.
4. Position the product support conveyor height at 0 (all the way up).
