26. Thermocouple

failure test

Suspected thermocouple board failure

Remove defective thermocouple wires
from the thermocouple board. Move a set
of good thermocouple wires to the bad
location.

If zone still fails:

The thermocouple board is defective.

If zone is good:

The thermocouple board is defective.

Defective thermocouple

Replace the thermocouple.

Defective thermocouple board

Replace the thermocouple board.

27. Hot air

recirculation fans
will not turn on

Fuses FU103 and/or FU117 are blown

NOTE: Power must be off. Observe local
Lock Out Tag Out procedures.

Check fuses FU103 and/or FU117 with an
ohm meter and replace as necessary.

Poly switch on motor controller board
may have opened.

NOTE: Poly switch will automatically reset
when it cools down. Identify the reason the
poly switch opened before moving on.

Removing power to the card will reset the
poly switch.

Check the motor, bearings, and blower
shaft assembly for free movement.
