How log messages are
displayed
Display log messages
This section displays the latest log messages. The number of messages
can be adjusted.
Click the
Entries
combo box next to
Messages
.
This will open the
LOG > Log
window, displaying all of the messages in the
log.
How log messages are
displayed
Messages in the log are divided into three columns.

Time
The time at which the message was created.

Type
The reason for the message, e.g.:

INFO
•
WARNING
•
ERROR

Text of the message
NOTE
Time = UTC (Universal Time Zone) if time was synchronized (see Section
11.4.4 Network Time Protocol (NTP), Seite 71). If the time has not been syn-
chronized, it will be the time after the device is started.
How log messages are
stored
2000 log messages are stored in a round-robin process, i.e., once a number
of messages reaches 2000, the oldest message is removed whenever a new
message is created.
Internal memory overruns are not possible.
