Serial interface
USB interface
The TREE-managed switches
TREE M-4TX PN
and
TREE M-6TX PN
have a
USB interface (serial - FTDI Virtual COMPort).
NOTICE
This interface may only be used under the guidance of the support staff of Mur-
relektronik GmbH.
8.2
Delivery state
In the as-delivered state and after a factory reset, the switch is configured as
follows:
PROFINET configuration
The PROFINET device name is open (empty string)
DCP is enabled
MRP is disabled
Port configuration
TX and RX ports are in the auto-configuration mode.
Auto-negotiation and auto-crossover are active for each TX port.
IP configuration
The IP address is set to 192.168.100.2/24.
The subnet mask is set to 255.255.255.0.
The standard addressing mechanism is set to
static
.
Web-based management (WBM)
The web server is active.
The login for the administrator is
admin
.
The password is
private
.
The web server can be accessed using the HTTP (port 80) and
HTTPS protocol (port 443).
The standard addressing mechanism is set to static.
SNMP and LLDP are active.
RSTP is active.
DHCP is not active.
NTP client is active.
NOTICE
We recommend changing the password as soon as the switch is operational
to increase operational safety.
You will not be able to make any changes to the configuration if the password
is no longer available after it has been changed!
