Safety
Keep your password
safe!
You can change security settings (such as changing your password) on the
Security
pages.
Keep your password safe!
Make a note of your passwords and keep them in a secure location.
If you forget a user password
You can set up a new user password if you are logged in as the adminis-
trator.
If you forget the admin password
(unable to configure the device)

Changing passwords
You can use the
Password Management
page to change the default pass-
word for the user groups
User
and
Admin
if necessary.
TIP
The default passwords are provided in Section 8.2 "Delivery state".
Change user or admin password
Log in using the current admin password.
Select
Change admin password
or
Change user password
.
Enter the current admin password.
Enter the new password.
Enter the new password again.
Saving settings
Click
APPLY
.
The latest changes will be saved.
Root certificate
A root certificate must be installed for the web browser if an encrypted connec-
tion is required between the web browser and the switch for security reasons.
